Blogpost #3: Science behind Supers

As a believer, I can say that the Lord is the most powerful and the most super among all of the supers. No one can be compared with Him even though some people say that some superheroes possess God-like prowess.

Scientists tried to prove the existence of God. I am a believer so I don't think that science has nothing to do with His existence. Going back to super humans like Superman, Spiderman, Hulk, and many more, though we know that all of them do not exist, science has or has been trying to find all the answers.

Superman and Spiderman are the two superheroes that I have chosen as an examples because their story is too mainstream. Most of us know that Superman came from another planet. He has inborn supernatural abilities. But scientifically speaking, his 'scientist' father rocketed him down to earth. Earth has much lower gravity than Krypton. How about Spiderman? his story is also too mainstream. Yeah he can spin his web, he can walk on the ceiling, his body composition improved. He possess the strength and agility of a spider, proportionally magnified into human scale. We all know that he was bitten by a radioactive spider and his DNA somehow eventually merged with the genetically modified spider's DNA.Spiderman

They don't exist, but with the help of technology today, possibilities are endless! While I was looking for articles, I found an article entitled, The Science Behind Superheroes, written by Tim Dean from the site, Cosmos Magazine, "They use their extraordinary powers to battle crime and save lives - and there's a healthy sprinkling of science behind their abilities.", he stated. Well, oddly speaking, accident-prone individuals such as Spiderman, Hulk, Wonder Woman and The Flash, was all the opposite of the stereotypical scientists that we all know. Or if not? these are people exposed to science, before they even mutate accidentally or not. Superheroes

From my article searching activity, I have found an article entitled Real Life Superheroes, under Bizzare Medical Stories, from the site, Oddee. It was stated here that we are so used in seeing fictional characters like wolverine, psylocke and many more super humans. But, abilities such as these do exist in real life.

As for existing super humans, as for example is 'ElectroMan', 'Rubberband Man', and 'Beast masters'. They may not have invulnerability, heat vision, or sonic waves, and they may not be using they're super natural talent to help people, they still are considered as super humans for superhumans are defined as one that is exceeding normal human power and capabilities. Here is one man who is able to slash a speeding pellet in half, that was fired from a gun.

What is the science behind all of these? Super human instinct? maybe. Or maybe human body composition. Whatever it is, it showed incredible characters and visuals but doesn't have any substance beneath the surface. Scientific aspect has more time to breath.
